Sublimation vs DTF vs Screen Print
Three different decoration methods, three different jobs - picking the wrong one is the most common reason a reorder doesn't match the original.
Quick comparison
- Sublimation: full-bleed color dyed into 100% polyester. Best for uniforms, won't crack or peel, doesn't work on cotton.
- DTF (direct-to-film): full-color transfer heat-pressed onto the garment. Works on cotton and blends, good for spirit wear and small runs.
- Screen print: ink pushed through a stencil per color. Most cost-effective at high volume with few colors, less suited to complex full-color art.
